Attractions: Longji Rice Terrace is the most famous rice terrace in Guilin. The terraced Fields in PingAn village show a picture of great momentum and imposing beauty. The best time for a good photo is in early June, when the paddies are pumping with water, the villages are transfering young plant of rice from the seed bed to large areas of rice terrace.

Daily tour to Longsheng. We offer round trip transfers by company van.

If you decide to stay overnight and continue to visit other attractions and villages in nearby areas on the Dragon Backbone Mountain, there are local public bus transfer service between Longji to Guilin. The cost is USD 5 per person. You will have a chance to travel with local villagers and their animals, like chicken, goats,pigs...Sorry for no refund from our driver, cause the poorly guy has to drive alone back for himself on the mountain road to Guilin.

Tour starts at 8:00 am. You will be picked up from the hotel in Guilin. It will spend 2 hours from Guilin to Longsheng by car. We take our tour in Ping'an Rice Terrace, the people there are Zhuang Ethinic. This is one good place for taking the photo of the huge terrace.

You will have Chinese lunch in a local restaurant. Later today, you will be transferred to Guilin.

Longsheng is famous for the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces: 60 square kilometers of terraced rice fields southeast of Longsheng. They were first built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty by Zhuang people. The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop, with the highest place of an elevation of 885m and the lowest 380m. The coiling line spirals up from the mountain foot to the top, making the mountain looks like huge snail seen from afar.
