Day 6 Yichang, Shanghai ( B,L ) |
Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site (08h00-10h00). Sailing through the shiplocks and the shiplift of the Three Gorges Dam. Arrive in Yichang at 13h00. Upon arrival at the dock, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to Yichang airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival at Shanghai airport, be met and drive to hotel. Free time for the rest of the night. Recommend you spend your time at Xintianti. |
The Three Gorges Dam | Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. It is 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. | Shanghai | Shanghai is a comprehensive industrial base and the leading port in China. It is an amazing mix of western and eastern cultures, boasting both traditional Chinese features and its modern lifestyle. |

There is a main subway station at the Pe…… | Nanjing Road | If you are a fashion-seeking shoppers, this is the right place for you where all-in-one shopping malls, gorgeous restaurants and spectacular night views can be found. Buildings with distinctive features erect on both side of the street, huge signboards and advertisements show the city’s prosperity. | Shanghai Museum | Shanghai reputedly holds China's best collection of treasures from ancient bronzes, exquisitely carved jades and Ming and Qing dynasty antique furniture. Every visitor to Shanghai should try to pop in for at least an hour, but it's easy to spend a whole morning here. | The Bund | The Bund is always the first thing to hit tourists when they visit Shanghai as it is regarded as Shanghai’s magnificent landmark. It is a waterfront area of Pu Xi (Shanghai Old Town), facing the newer part of Shanghai – Pu Dong. |

Continue our sightseeing tour in Shanghai. Later today you will be tranferred to airport for your flight to sweet home. |
Yuyuan Garden | The Yuyuan Garden, also known as the “Yu Garden”, is an eminent classical Chinese garden and famed as “an architectural miracle in South China”. Inside the Yu Garden, you will be fascinated with traditional Chinese style houses, grottoes, pavilions, lotus ponds, and zigzag bridges crossing streams. | The French Concession | A residential area of Shanghai once designated for the French, it is a very nice European place in Shanghai with lots of French and German cafes, tree-lined avenues, up-market stores as well as historical buildings. | Jade Buddha Temple | It's a peaceful refuge from the bustle Shanghai, quite venerable, known for the two white jade Buddha statues imported from Burma. Its classic layout and architectural style of Song Dynasty makes the temple inimitable with neat and strict composition, ingenious structure and grand exterior. | Yuyuan Market | Located next to the Yuyuan Garden, it's a lively market that specializes in traditional Chinese arts and crafts.
