Day 7 Chongqing, Lhasa ( B,L ) |
Arrive in Chongqing pier in the morning. Be met by local English speaking tour guide and drive to Dazu to visit Baodingshan Buddhist Grottoes. You will catch the overnight train to Lhasa in the evening, train for soft sleeper class (4 berths in one compartment). Train No.: T222/3 leaves Chongqing at 19h42, arrives Lhasa at 17h21 the third day. 45 hours and 39 minutes. Stay overnight on the train. |
Baoding Mountain Chongqing | Baoding Mountain (baoding shan), is renowned for the examples of stone carving that exist in the grottoes here. Upon your arrival at Lhasa railway station at 17h21 in the evening, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to the hotel. Leisure on your own at the rest of the day to adjust to Tibet's high altitudes. |
